Thought for Food.

As I returned from the gym at roughly 9:50 AM this morning, I knew I had no food in my pantry as I just returned from Chicago where I stayed for spring break. As any avid reader of Men's Health will tell you, one's post workout meal is their most important meal of the day. So, with limited options, I sought out my ten-pound bag of powdered protein and carbohydrates and spilled a good fat serving into my (noticeably) recently used blender bottle. I then opened my fridge, hoping to discover milk recently purchased by my room mates- alas, I was disappointed to find only condiments and cheese. As my dog sat in the corner of the kitchen monitoring my every move, I reluctantly filled my shaker bottle to its 24 oz brim with lukewarm tap water before vigorously shaking it. Somewhere between my morning bout of AC/DC and getting showered and dressed I managed to choke down the "chocolate" drink to ensure my plumpness for another half day. That is at least until I finish this post, leave class and eat the half-dozen bagels awaiting my return.
